RTL Televizija To Be Fined for Big Brother?

Croatian weekly Nacional reports that RTL Televizija could be indeed punished because of problematic content in Big Brother Croatia shows. Electronic Media Council has reviewed the shows and sent detailed analysis of problematic content to RTL Televizija demanding some changes. If RTL Televizija doesn't act on such recommendation, it could be received 1 million HRK fine or, eventually, even lose broadcasting license.

Reason for such harsh measures isn't only in nudity, sexual situations, smoking, drinking, bad language and other content "harmful to children". Electronic Media Council is also troubled by some of advertising that are in breech of Croatian laws.
