Kosor Without Spine

While Stipe Mesić (Stipe Mesic) tries to explain his Montenegro blunder with "severe case of toothache that didn't let him use proper words", his main rival Jadranka Kosor responds with the blunder of her own.

In an interview to Slobodna Dalmacija she was asked about possible ban on abortion, which should be implementation of HDZ platform which "defends life from conception till death". The interviewer was astounded to find that Kosor didn't have an opinion on the issue because "it had never been discussed in cabinet meetings".

Kosor's statement is going to be godsend to Mesić's camp. Many described Kosor as faceless and utterly bland candidate, chosen only because of her absolute loyalty to party chief Sanader. After that they could describe her as "spineless" because serious presidential candidates should have at least some courage to have their own opinion and stand behind them.
