Heaven Receiving A Huge Boost

In Summer of 1985 former Yugoslav cinema experienced great loss when two great actors – Zoran Radmilović (Zoran Radmilovic) and Slobodan Aligrudić (Slobodan Aligrudic) – died in a matter of weeks. Many critics and fans tried to comfort themselves with a phrase “Heaven received a huge boost”.

Today I’m more willing to apply this phrase after hearing about the deaths of great Canadian actor John Vernon and his great American colleague Ossie Davis.
